The Encouragement bracelet began when I, myself needed encouragement. Needing some direction, I had called my son's youth pastor and told him I was at the very end of my rope. His simple and meaningful response was: "Laura, you should always remember God has more rope."  

The words were simple, the thought...almost effortless.  Certainly I was consoled, but somehow
it was more. I thought about what he'd said for days afterward and realized he had given me so much more than just words and I wanted to remember forever, the power, the very soul of what he said to me that day.

So I set about making a kind of bracelet for myself that represented my own deep faith in God, knowing that just wearing it, and holding onto it I might find strength in those times when I needed to remember God was there with me.

With the bracelet and my new found strength,
I soon found people asking me about it, and I myself wanting for them to share in some way, the same personal joy and strength of this beautiful symbol of encouragement.

And so I now offer this bracelet, and other items of encouragement, because I truly believe that at times so many of us simply want to hold onto something powerful to remind us of the deep strength we can have because of our faith in God.
